
The Story
Based in Ottawa, Canada and founded in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Nostalgia began as a creative venture shared among close friends and family — a quiet idea rooted in storytelling, design, and a love for the past. What started as a small project quickly grew through word of mouth, resonating with a community that values authenticity and intention.
In 2021, the brand was invited to host it's first in-store pop-up at Ottawa’s premier streetwear boutique, NRML — a release that sold out and laid the foundation for our presence in the city. A second invite followed in the summer of 2022, with another sold-out collection that expanded our reach through social media and grassroots momentum.
As the community grew, so did Nostalgia's collaborations. The brand partnered with renowned local coffee shop Driphouse to offer exclusive merchandising and launched Nostalgia Night — an intimate event series where new collections are unveiled, connections with the community are made and celebration of the brand through throwback sounds happen. With three editions to date, these events have become a staple for Ottawa’s creative scene.
In alignment with Nostalgia's values, the brand also partnered with Canadian youth mental health organization Jack.org for two capsule collaborations in 2023 and 2024, raising funds and awareness for youth mental health. These projects reflect our belief that a brand’s purpose extends beyond product — it's about impact.
At its core, Nostalgia is dedicated to timeless design — inspired by vintage silhouettes, retro aesthetics and detailed craftsmanship — reinterpreted for the modern day. Each piece is crafted using high-end, premium fabrics and produced in small batches, staying true to our ethos of exclusivity. With belief in creating for those who truly connect with the vision — not everyone, just the right ones.
